Giza Table-Comes in Various Finishes

The Giza Table can be used with the Alexandria Bench and the Taj Chair. This table comes with a long lasting durable finish that will hold up to years of use from toddlers and children of all ages. Table is made of solid birch and birch ply. Recommended for children ages 2-4. Table measures 17.5”H and is 34” in diameter. You can purchase optional leg extensions that would increase the height of the table up to 21”H, making suitable for children ages 4 to 6. The Giza Table is part of the Wonders Collection. Each piece of furniture is named from one of the listed wonders of the world. There is a hang-tag on each piece of furniture featuring information and imagery of the namesake. Each hang-tag teaches the reader and the listener about the most fascinating and bewildering architecture and scientific phenomenon ever recorded.

This table is named after the pyramid at Giza. Even though it is the oldest wonder of the world, The Great Pyramid of Giza is still standing. Over four thousand years ago, the Egyptian pharaoh Khufu built the pyramid to serve as a tomb for his own body after he died. About two million blocks of stone, each weighing more than two tons, make up it's 481 feet of height. It was constructed over about 20 years, so soundly that even today we don't understand how it was done!
