This makes a wonderful gift and can be given as a keepsake to use as a dish or as a decorative element that can be hung on a wall with a plate hanger. Slight changes in color and minor flaws appear occasionally due to the glazing and firing process. All ceramics have minor flaws which add character and uniqueness to a one-of-a-kind piece. This plate is food safe. Hand washing is recommended to extend the life of the plate. Dishwashers can cause "crazing" in the dish. Microwaving is not recommended. Please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery.
