British craftsman of the 18th century discovered what their Eastern counterparts had known for centuries, that teak has qualities unlike any other wood. Only premium quality teak and precise mortice and tenon joinery have been used in the construction of this furniture. This furniture is shipped knocked down in cartons, and assembly is a simple procedure requiring about 15 minutes per piece. This is the classic ocean liner steamer. Ours is heavy duty, constructed with durable solid brass hardware. The back adjusts to four positions, and the foot rest is easily removable.
